Cleverlotus StudioMany years ago, while studying traditional landscape painting in China, Melanie Boyle fell in love with the folk art of paper cutting. These paper silhouettes adorn the home during the Lunar New Year celebration, and are given to friends and family to bestow luck and happiness.
Melanie’s works are made in the same spirit, to be shared and enjoyed. Each image begins as an original design hand cut from a single sheet of paper. Her inspiration comes from the world of plants, those that brighten most gardens, the rich range of plants and wildflowers native to North America, and traditional botanical illustration.
Cards with an envelope are $3.50 each or $17.95 for a package of six.
We carry about 23 different designs.
